Develon Europe Visits Korea
Develon Europe recently organized a trip to South Korea for its valued dealers and their customers. The dealers included Rühle, Eisenwagen Baumaschinen, Ummenhofer Baumaschinen and ATLAS Hannover Baumaschinen. The visit featured tours of HD Hyundai Infracore’s key production sites, offering a first-hand look at the complexity of construction equipment manufacturing, all while allowing participants to dive into Korean culture.
A major highlight was the visit to the Incheon factory, where the entire innovation process was unveiled. Guests witnessed the journey of each Develon product, from initial concept to final creation.
The second day was dedicated to cultural experiences. Visitors had the chance to explore Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village, a Korean village made up of hanoks, traditional Korean houses.
One of the days was selected for visiting the Korean Demilitarized Zone, offering a unique opportunity for an insight into the region's historical and geopolitical context.
For the European guests, a special visit was arranged to HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, the world's largest shipbuilding company and a major player in heavy equipment manufacturing.
The entire trip culminated with a visit to Lotte World Tower and a delightful farewell dinner that Develon Europe shared in the company of Edward (Heejoon) Song, Head of Global Sales at HD Hyundai Infracore.
