Doosan Machines Shine at Open Day Event at INTRAC in Lithuania
INTRAC Lietuva, which supplies Lithuanian customers with heavy duty crawler and wheeled machinery for logging, construction, mining, loading, road construction and agriculture, has held a successful Open Day for the Doosan construction machinery range at the dealer‘s premises in Kaunas in Lithuania.
INTRAC Lietuva General Manager, Rimantas Damkauskas, commented: “It turns out that Doosan is a well-known brand not only worldwide but also in Lithuania. As soon as we announced that we were to become an official dealer, and we were signing a supply contract, we immediately received interest for orders. We had already sold five Doosan loaders and crawler excavators before the official trade started at the Open Day. What kind of turnover growth does INTRAC Lietuva plan with the coming of Doosan? We had budgeted for sales of ten units. This is roughly worth up to $1 million EUR in turnover terms. But as we have already sold five units, I think we will exceed our annual plan.“
“We see really great opportunities with the Doosan brand. Particularly by exploiting the synergies in INTRAC: as we now represent this brand in the Baltic States, we can offer our many years of experience (more than 25 years in the market, 20 years in the field of construction machinery). As a result, we always have something to offer both existing and prospective customers - as well as those customers who are already fans of the Doosan brand.”
Rimantas Damkauskas also pointed out the favourable price when talking about Doosan products. “It's really affordable for Lithuanians. Doosan is cheaper than most competitors but offers high quality products.“
As the official Doosan dealer in Lithuania, INTRAC Lietuva not only sells Doosan construction equipment, but also provides warranty and post-warranty maintenance, as well as sales of spare parts.
According to Arnas Redikas, Head of Aftersales at INTRAC Lietuva, the company has fully Doosan trained and qualified professionals, who have undergone training at the Doosan Training Center in the Czech Republic.
"It is unclear how further training will be affected by the worldwide spread of coronavirus, as another week's training at the Doosan Training Center is scheduled in the near future," Arnas Redikas said, but INTRAC Lietuva has specialist engineers for each product line, who then share their experience and skills with other employees in the company.
