Two Rounds of Doosan Factory Visits in Korea Were Held in October and November

Doosan Infracore Europe was honoured to welcome to South Korea some of its Dealers and their customers, where they had an opportunity to visit Doosan Infracore’s major factories as well as to experience local culture and traditions. The following Dealerships and one Rental Company were part of the Doosan Factory Visit events held on October 13 – 18 and November 10 – 15:

• RealMachinery (Finland)
• Anema (Netherlands)
• Beauloc (France)

With great pride and pleasure, the Doosan team guided our guests around the major Doosan production sites – Incheon, Gunsan and Changwon plants. where Doosan construction equipment is being manufactured. In addition, dealers and their customers had an opportunity to experience the vibrant Korean culture, learn about its history, and of course taste the variety of local food.

The Incheon Factory tour included a visit to the Doosan Infracore R&D Center, where guests were introduced to the company and its history and was followed by a tour of the Mini-Excavators production line. Dealers and customers were also warmly welcomed at the Gunsan Plant, where they were guided through the Medium and Heavy Excavator assembly lines and were among the first to see the new Generation 7 Wheel Loaders. In another highlight for the October guests, they were lucky enough to test the new DX800LC-7, which received positive feedback from customers.

The last plant on the itinerary was the Changwon Heavy Industries Factory – providing an impressive introduction to Doosan Group businesses such as Nuclear Power Plant manufacturing, marine engine manufacturing, desalination plant development and wind turbine production.

At Doosan, we hope that this visit to Doosan’s core operations and the Republic of Korea left our guests with very favourable and long-lasting memories.
