Develon at SIM 2026

Develon proudly participated in SIM 2026, the French Mineral Industries Congress and Exhibition, Châlons-en-Champagne, France, from 7–9 October. The theme for this year’s exhibition was “Water: essential resource and strategic issues.”

SIM 2026 brings together more than 400 exhibitors and we welcomed the majority of our key account customers and had very constructive discussions about their upcoming projects, particularly around electric machines, lower-emission solutions and the requirements of the new major construction projects expected in France.

At the same time, the discussions also confirmed that the current market situation remains challenging. Many of our customers expressed a rather cautious and pessimistic outlook for 2027, with limited market visibility and continued pressure on investment decisions. Despite this difficult environment, customers are already preparing for future projects, which makes it even more important for us to stay close to them and understand their evolving requirements.

Overall the SIM event was successful, with strong customer participation, valuable discussions and interesting opportunities for future business, despite the challenging market outlook.
