Construction Work on the New Develon Headquarters in Mannheim is Progressing Rapidly

The construction work for Develon's new location in Mannheim is progressing well. The structural engineering work for the administration building on the approximately 10,650 square metre site at Lembacher Strasse 30 in the Friedrichsfeld district has already been completed and the shell of the facility has been finished. Over the next few weeks, the upcoming façade work and the interior fit-out will be completed. A webcam provides updated images of the construction site every hour on the hour.

“We see our goal of consistently expanding the business step by step, growing every day in the truest sense of the word and look forward to welcoming customers and dealers from the GSA region on site from next year. This also includes the training courses in German for bauma for example,” reports Andreas M. Lohner, Managing Director Develon Germany and Sales Manager for the DACH region and Eastern Europe, with a satisfied grin.

René Halter, a member of the management team at Develon in Mannheim, is also delighted with the progress of the construction work: “The shell of the office building has been completed and the structural work on the adjacent warehouse and workshop has also made great progress. This offers a really impressive view of the entire construction project.”

In addition to large workshop spaces and an office building, a modern customer and training center will also be set up. It will also house the rental fleet with the latest generation of machines and a wide range of new machines. A total of up to 40 new jobs are to be created. The new Develon site in the Friedrichfeld district of Mannheim is very conveniently located with direct access to the A656 highway (Mannheim-Heidelberg).

Andreas M. Lohner and René Halter expect the main construction work of the new German Develon headquarters to be completed by the end of this year. Until then, Develon will offer its customers all the services that will also be available at the new location at its interim location at Seckenheimer Landstraße 210-220, which opened in March 2023.
