DMP Highlights Develon’s New Series 9 Technology at Xtrem Pro Days

DMP is a Develon dealer for Reunion Island, a French overseas department in the Indian Ocean located between Madagascar and Mauritius.

DMP is the largest construction equipment dealer in the region; established over 50 years ago, the company is recognized and appreciated for its excellent level of service. DMP represents Bobcat and Kubota for compact equipment, Fenwick Linde for forklifts, and Develon for heavy equipment.

Every year, DMP organizes its "Xtrem Pro Days" – an event dedicated to construction industry professionals, attracting over 600 attendees over the course of three days. This year, the star of the show was the DX230LC-9; two units were displayed – one for static viewing and one for live demonstrations.

No fewer than seven models were showcased at the event: the DX57W-7 and DX100W-7 (which have enjoyed great commercial success in recent years), the DX140LCR-7, DX165WR-7K, and DX210W-7K, and as previously mentioned, two DX230LC-9 units.

The DX230LC-9 was a huge hit, primarily due to its smart features such as E-stop, a 360° camera with pedestrian detection, and other capabilities like integrated weighing, lift assist, and a 2D digging assist system that offers both guidance and semi-automatic operation.

DMP is also very strong selling Develon hydraulic breaker with 60 to 80 units per year. During the event, two DX230 units were sold and are currently undergoing financing.
